Miranta graduated from Muhlenberg College with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience with three and a half years of experience doing visual neuroscience research with Musca Domestica. After graduation, she came into the world of vision therapy as an application of the various concepts that she studied. She found a niche for treating patients that had traumatic brain injuries and severe forms of strabismus. Her primary interests in neuroscience lies in studying the connections in visual processing and specifically how the information we receive on our world gets integrated into a gestalt experience. This also includes integration of vestibular input that allows us to appreciate and navigate our world. She is interested in learning every technique that allows us to study these systems and circuits to have a deeper, more meaningful understanding of how they work.
