Panos Alefantis

Post-Doctoral Associate

Panos has been a Postdoctoral Associate in the Angelaki lab since June 2019. He received his M.D. from the University of Athens, and decided to pursue research rather than clinical medicine. Panos is interested in studying the brain closer to real life and away from traditionally artificial behavioral paradigms. He is currently working on a project that combines navigation with decision-making in freely-moving animals. In his spare time, he enjoys relaxing with his two cats.
